# Delete Silence

client.Alerting.Silences.Delete(ctx, silenceID, body) (\*[SilenceDeleteResponse](<https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/go/resources/alerting#(resource)%20alerting.silences%20%3E%20(model)%20SilenceDeleteResponse%20%3E%20(schema)>), error)

DELETE/accounts/{account\_id}/alerting/v3/silences/{silence\_id}

Deletes an existing silence for an account.
