# Delete a specific account

accounts.delete(AccountDeleteParams\*\*kwargs) -> [AccountDeleteResponse](<https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/python/resources/accounts#(resource)%20accounts%20%3E%20(model)%20account_delete_response%20%3E%20(schema)>)

DELETE/accounts/{account\_id}

Delete a specific account (only available for tenant admins at this time). This is a permanent operation that will delete any zones or other resources under the account

##### Security

API Email + API Key

The previous authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API, used in conjunction with a Global API key.

**Example:**`X-Auth-Email: user@example.com`
